Company Profile
CTMA, affiliated to HBN Law and established in 1957,
is one of the most qualified firms in the Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Eustatius and Saba for trademark related matters. The
firm renders a wide range of services, as there are,
registration with the Bureau for Intellectual Property
(“BIP”), searches and also protection and
commercial investigation. Curaçao, St. Marten and the BES Islands are members of the Madrid Agreement and the Protocol related
to that Agreement. Consequently, we can assist you in
obtaining international protection for your trademark
as well.
Before you decide to use a trademark or trade name,
it is important to know if this name is available to
be used. Taking into account the amount of trademarks
already registered in Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Eustatius and Saba,
it is not always easy to come with an original name.
We do not want our customers to be confronted with unpleasant
surprises and therefore we advise you to do a search
before you decide to register your trademark or logo.
CTMA can provide these services.
Beside advice, we can also assist you with litigation
matters. In close cooperation with HBN Law attorney
Michel Kock, who has a vast reputation with trademark
litigation, we can provide you with a solid tactic to
protect your interest.
Our firm has a service minded and efficient working
team. Quality with a personal touch are what we focus
on. Margret Janse has more than twenty years of experience
in the field of trademarks. We have been servicing more
than 1000 customers all over the world. By assisting
so many customers CTMA within Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Saba and Sint
Eustatius and Aruba, has acquired a rich experience
in various aspects of trademark law and practice.
