WIFOL wins Pelican case
The verdict is in and the judge has ruled that Pelican Resort will have to retain the Pelican workers. Attorney for the WIFOL and the Pelican workers Marten Le Poole and Wim van Sambeek are satisfied with Tuesday's verdict. Le Poole in an initial reaction stated that the judgement is a victory for the workers (source: SXM Island Time).
